Magical Monday Easter Lilies

Sue asked everyone to use the image "Easter Lilies" by Paper Cupcakes and to make a card to showcase this beautiful image however you like. I had to put mine on a piece of blue paper so it would get all of the card. I didn't want a lot of extras since it was a sympathy card and I got exactly what I set out to do. Much better looking card than last weeks. Have no idea where my brain was last week, but it has caught up with me this week. I used my nestabilities behind the lilies and with the sentiment - edging with my inks. Colored the lilies a very pale pink and adding the edging to the right with a Hot Off The Press Border. Again usig my scissors for the edge of the card. Love those scissors! You can find this here.

Magical Monday For You

O.K., I just had to make a new card. I did not like the one below this, so it was back to the drawing board. Still had to keep my little frog.

Kim's challenge this week is to use any Paper Cupcake image, a 4 by 4 size card base, 1 ribbon, 1 single type embellishment, 1 stamped/printed sentiment and NO patterned papers. I put bunka around the little frog and used my fancy scissors again. For some reason I pinked the edges which is not showing up. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Merry Wishes

Nilla wants us to use Merry Wishes and to use any shades of Blue/Green/White. Make these colors the main theme for the project. I really like this image, I think it is so cute. Had everything in my stash and I can always count on those fancy scissors. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Chenille Cat and Chicks

Selma would like for this weeks challenge to use any acquired Paper Cupcake image to celebrate Spring with cards to have a 3-D flowers and leaves; they can be Prima, die cut, hand cut, silk, etc. I found 3 that I couln't make up my mind so I made all three. Chenille Cat & Chicks - Elvis in boots - Mouse Friends - Splash. Everything on the cards I had on hand. On the Chenille Cat I went to my Miniature stash and I use Bunka around the circle which I think turned out pretty good. I would have loved to used the cuttle bug but it meant moving a lot of things and since I already had a big mess everywhere, I did not want to add to it. Combining one workroom with two hobbies can be quite intertaining to say the least. You cna find this here.
