Magical Monday Aye Aye

Ildiko Cseh has brought the challenge by making a Halloween card or project using a Halloween theme using the colors green, orange and black. I used the image from Paper Cupcakes, Aye Aye. I am sorry that I don't remember where I got the moon with the bats. The orange spider webs are from Martha Stewart punch. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Party Pig

Jennifer Scull brings us this weeks challenge. She wants us to use any animal image and go wild on creativity. Since my son has a birthday coming up, I decided to go with the "Party Pig". It is a tri-folded card. I am sorry that I don't remember whos sentiment I have used, but I thought it went great with this image.. The darker green swirls are from a punch and the bigger one in the back ground I got from somewhere. I made it bigger and cut it out. You can find it here.

Magical Monday Beached Bear

Belinda Lewis wanted anything male/masculine on a card or any type of project for this weeks contest over at There's Magic in the Air. I am sorry that I can't remember whose sandcastle is in the background. The way the heat is here, I sure wish I was with that bear on the beach. I used scrap paper for sky and beach and put stickles for the birds and the sand. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Cart With Flowers

This weeks challenge comes from Sheng Vang over at TMITA. She would like to see your own creative flowers on the cards or projects. They can be with material, felt, punched and/or whatever other flowers you would love to share. I used Nina's image "cart with flowers", punched out flowers and glued them over her flowers (hope she doesn't mind). They might be a tad too big, but I think they still work. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Tulip Bunch

The contest this week was to use the sketch. I used the image from Paper Cupcake called Tulip Bunch. I read somewhere that you should pick your paper first before coloring your image, and I sure agree with that, so much easier to know what colors you are going to use rather than trying to find the paper to match the colors of your image. Need to get in gear and finish this so that I can leave to go see my granddaughter in her school play. She has the lead. Hope everyone has a great weekend! You can find this here.

Magical Monday Baby Rhino's Day

Julie Smith brings us this weeks challenge for Paper Cupcakes. She would like us to make any type of birthday card or project. I've missed the last two weeks because of cleaning two rooms and being down, and I barely got into this weeks showing. I really like this little fellow from Paper Cupcakes. Found this different shape card and I like it. Hope everyone has a really great Mothers Day. I am going to have lunch with my older daughter, Karen and dinner with my youngest daughter, Nina. I know I am going to enjoy my day. Have heard and seen from both my sons. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Hello Sunshine

This week Ildiko Cseh has given us the challenge of using the combo of bright and cheery colors, Green - Yellow - Orange. I used the Paper Cupcake's image of Hello Sunshine and used my Bic Markers to color it. Used Star Dust Stickle on the sun and the snail. Used chalk for the sky. Just bought the flower this week. The ribbon was a piece from my stash. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Spring Time Friends

Fourth time to put this on. Belinda Lewis wants everyone to use flowers of any kind on your card. I cut a border with a fence and lots of flowers and put it on top of a paper of sky. Punched out the butterflys and cloud with the saying on it. Used Star Dust Stickle on top of the flower that the bird is holding. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Doodle Flower 4

This week at TMITA Carol West would like everyone to make either a vintage card or tag. I used the Doodle Flower 4 from Paper Cupcakes and made rather a simple card. Used some scraps and cut with my fancy scissors. Found these two little bees that looked like they would want to buzz around this little flower! You can find this here.

Magical Monday Eggs-traordinary Find

At TMITA Katrina Benton has the challenge for this week. She would like for you to use your favorite color and make a monochromatic card, which means one color with variations of that same color. It can include your image or not. I chose from Paper Cupcakes of Nina's Eggs-traordinary Find, because Easter is coming. One card down and many more to go. There is a big and two little butterflies cover with gold glitter and they don't show up very well. May re-do these butterflies before sending to someone, but right now they will stay where they are. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Wild Flower Bouquet

Gloria Westerman brought us this weeks challenge at TMITA. She wants us to use a shape or die cut of any kind with a little texture or embossing of any kind. My card is made up from very pale pinks. I lined the shape of the card with bunka and also the circle which is embossed and then chalked to show the design. I don't know whose image of the man and woman, but I think it goes perfect for an anniversary card with Nina's Wild Flower Bouquet. The stones on the card are also pink but they look clear. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Love Grows Here

Carol West brings this weeks challenge at TMITA. She would like you to use the following recipe for the elements on the card. They are: 3 flowere (minimum) - lace or ribbon - pearls or gems - l die cut. The hearts on the tree have heart gems on it. I used ribbon that I had from last year and the flowers are from my stash. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Doodle Heart with With All My Heart

This weeks contest at TMITA is to make a valentine card for a friend and use the following sentiment along with any image on the front of the card. (This sentiment does not count as the Paper Cupcake image for the participants drawing.) Friendship isn't a big thing, it's a million little things. I used Paper Cupcake image of the doodle heart and made it in three sizes and also use the image also from Paper Cupcake With All My Heart which is the little mouse holding the heart. I also put stickles on the little pink hearts. Why it is cutting off the left side of my card is beyond me, but I am not doing this little sucker over. You can find this here.

Magical Monday Sent with Love

Nina has a Tic-Tac-Toe game for us to play with this week. Go into any direction as if you are playing the game of TTT, three in a row. I picked the one that goes across at the top. I made my card in the shape of a heart and trimmed it with white picot trim. Put the white stitching around the heart with a white glase pen. Used little heart buttons and a larger one on the envelope. The ticket is also from Paper Cupcakes. I used colored pencils on both the ticket and the bird. You can find this here.

Magical Mondy Miss Kitty

Nina gave us a sketch to use for this weeks challenge. Since I am trying to get Valentine cards ready that is the way I decided to go. I would put the sketch up but I am not really sure how to do that with the card and I hate messing up. It usually takes more than one try to get this on my blog because I do something wrong and when I try to straighten it out it erases all the things I have done. You can tell from last weeks card, I finally just did the thing that you could go to Nina's blog. This is my second try for this card. I keep saying I am going to take some time and try to figure all this out and how to do things for and on my blog. The thing is I just don't seem to find that extra time. Maybe I will stay up all night and see if I can figure things out. Who needs all that extra sleep anyhow! Back to the card...I used my "nesties" behind Miss Kitty, punches for the top, bottom and side of card. I used Bic-markers and a colored pencil for her. Plus I also used Nins's ticket for the sentiment. All the paper was from my scrap box. You can find this here.
